The Community Vision for Garristown is an opportunity for those who live, work or regularly visit Garristown to come together in the development of a plan for the future of the village.
A community team in partnership with Garristown Community Council have commissioned a team of consultants to deliver this project across the Summer of 2025.
The outcome of the Community Vision will be used to fulfill the requirements of an EU-Funded SMART Village Plan for Garristown. For more information on the project, what a SMART Village Plan is, the teams involved and how it relates to wider initiatives, check the project FAQs.
How to Get Involved!
The aspirations and ideas of Garristown locals are central to the development of the Community Vision. There will be a number of ways to get involved with the project, to make sure that as many people as possible can have their say!
The first stage of the community engagement process is a public survey, which allows you to give general thoughts and ideas on Garristown, and inform the first steps of the project.
Take the public survey online today!
The public survey closed on 19th May – make sure you have your say! If you’re unable to complete the online survey, or know someone who may need an offline version, paper copies of the survey are available for collection at Garristown Library.
Watch this space for more details on our in-person Summer engagement programme, which will have a number of events taking place across early June!

Help us Spread the Word
